Celebrating Her Life and Legacy - Miss Polly Crum
Yesterday (Friday 31st July) Miss Polly Crum went home to be with the LORD. This precious godly lady, loved her family, the LORD, His Word, her church, and people. My wife and I had the pleasure of attending the same church with her for nine years. She was always faithful in attendance and very supportive of the church’s endeavor in the furtherance of the Gospel. Miss Polly loved everybody and everyone who knew her could feel the love of the Lord within her. When we came to Grace Baptist Church in April of 2003, Miss Polly along with the entire church family received us with arms wide open. We enjoyed many wonderful meals and fellowship with the Crum family. She taught Sunday School and worked in the nursery and the LORD used her to reach many for Him. She was a blessing to all and a rock to her family. Her husband helped build the church building where scores of people could come and hear preachers preach the Gospel so that many could believe and be saved. As a result, many ministries started and numerous ministers would be launched out from this small country church with a big heart for God. Her influence not only encompassed north Mississippi, but regions beyond. Although she is no longer here with us physically, her life and legacy lives on in the lives of those she impacted with her godly influence. She is already missed, but we will see her again very soon. QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER:
